An estimated 30,000 poker players are converging in Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker, the largest poker tournament in the world as far as prize money and participants. The event starts Monday and runs through Aug. 10 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino just west of the Las Vegas Strip. Every day will include a new event ranging from 7-card stud to no-limit Hold'em to Razz (low hand wins), with all the tournaments producing a bracelet winner. Here's a quick look at the tournament by the numbers: 10,000,000 Potential dollars in the first-place check for winning the no-limit Texas Hold'em Main Event. Last year, Joseph Hachem earned $7.5 million for winning the main event. 50,000 Dollars needed to enter the H.O.R.S.E. tournament, the largest buy-in in WSOP history.
